Malica Evaluation 2017-2022 | Hanoi | 16 November 2022
16 November 2022, Markets and Agriculture Linkages for Cities in Asia – MALICA Platform carried out the 5-year Evaluation Workshop for the term 2017-2022 in Hanoi, with the support from the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences – VAAS. This is an important activity of MALICA, to comprehensively evaluate the strategy, activities, values and outcomes of this platform in partnership for research and training. -

Food safety in Vietnam: research and policy implications | Hanoi | 7-8 June 2017
In order to foster policy recommendations and propose quality management solutions on food safety and agricultural product traceability, the National Superior Institute of Agronomic Sciences, Food and the Environment, France (AGROSUP DIJON), the Research Consortium on Markets and agricultural linking Chains in Asia (MALICA), the Rural Development Center/Institute of Policies and Strategies for Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam (RUDEC/ IPSARD) and the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development, Vietnam/France (CIRAD) collaborated to organize a 2-day workshop « Food safety in Vietnam: research and policy implications » on 7-8 June 2017 in Hanoi -

Vietnam: Regional workshop on Food consumption, urbanisation and rural transformations
Hanoi, October 1-2, 2015, MALICA (Markets and Agriculture Linkages for Cities in Asia), in collaboration with IIED (International Institute for Environment and Development), VAAS (Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences), successfully organized, with IFAD support (International Fund for Agricultural Development) the regional workshop on Food consumption, urbanization and rural transformations. -

The report "Viet Nam Food Safety Risks Management: Challenges and Opportunities" to which Cirad contributed together with ILRI, FAO, the Hanoi School of Public Health and other partners was launched during a seminar organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the World Bank Group on Monday 27 of March 2017.
