Launching of the report "Viet Nam Food Safety Risks Management: Challenges and Opportunities"

The report "Viet Nam Food Safety Risks Management: Challenges and Opportunities" to which Cirad contributed together with ILRI, FAO, the Hanoi School of Public Health and other partners was launched during a seminar organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the World Bank Group on Monday 27 of March 2017.

The diagnosis developed in this report is an important step towards better tackling food safety management in Vietnam and is to give rise to new initiatives. The three ministries in charge of food safety (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), MOH and Ministry of industry and commerce (MOIC)) as well as various donors cooperate on this. And Cirad is committed to consolidating its contribution to this dynamics by  pursuing actions with its Malica partners together with funding agencies and concerned national authorities.
